Shari Eberts is a hearing health advocate, writer, and avid Bikram yogi. She is the founder of Living With Hearing Loss, a blog and online community for people living with hearing loss and tinnitus. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Hearing Loss Association of America. Shari has an adult-onset genetic hearing loss and hopes that by sharing her story she will help others to live more peacefully with their own hearing issues.

Brady Workman, AuD
Brady Workman, AuD, is an audiologist in the Balance Disorders program at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. He has authored several articles relating to balance and vestibular disorders as a regular contributor and co-editor of the Dizziness Depot at Hearing Health & Technology Matters. Brady received his doctorate of audiology from East Tennessee State University in 2018 and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Gael Hannan is a writer, speaker and advocate on hearing loss issues. In addition to her weekly blog for Hearing Health & Technology Matters, which has an international following, Gael wrote the acclaimed book “The Way I Hear It: A Life with Hearing Loss”. She is regularly invited to present her uniquely humorous and insightful work to appreciative audiences around the world. Gael has received many awards for her work, which includes advocacy for a more inclusive society for people with hearing loss. She lives with her husband on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Marshall Chasin, AuD
Dr. Marshall Chasin is Director of Audiology at the Musicians’ Clinics of Canada, Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto (in Linguistics), and Associate Professor in the School of Communication Disorders and Sciences at Western University. He is the author of over 200 articles and 8 books including Musicians and the Prevention of Hearing Loss. He writes a monthly column in Hearing Review called Back to Basics. Dr. Chasin has been the recipient of many awards over the years including the 2012 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Award and the 2017 Canada 150 Medal. He has developed a new TTS app called Temporary Hearing Loss Test app. And he is not as boring as this bio makes him sound!
Kevin Liebe, AuD
Kevin Liebe, AuD, is the President and CEO of HHTM Group. He has worked as an audiologist in a variety of settings, including private practice, Ear Nose Throat clinics and industry. Kevin is a past President and board member of the Washington State Academy of Audiology. He is experienced in digital media platforms and has written and edited numerous articles over the years for both professional and consumer publications.
Brian Taylor, AuD
Brian Taylor, AuD, is the director of scientific and product marketing for Sivantos. He is a veteran of the hearing industry with more than 25 years of experience, most recently at Fuel Medical Group where he served as Director of Clinical Audiology. An Audiologist since 1991, Brian received his Au.D. from Central Michigan University in 2006. During his career, Brian has been involved in many areas of the industry including clinical practice, practice and professional development, and training. Brian is a prolific and respected contributor to the industry with more than 25 publications, including six audiology textbooks, and numerous speaking engagements both domestically and internationally. Brian has also served as Editor-In-Chief at Hearing Health & Technology Matters (HHTM) from 2018-2019 and currently serves as Editor-at-Large for HHTM.
Robert M. Traynor, Ed.D., MBA, FNAP has been an audiology clinician, academic, and practice manager for over 45 years. He has lectured on most aspects of the field of Audiology in over 40 countries. Dr. Traynor is the Editor of Hearing International at Hearing Health & Technology Matters and has numerous publications in professional and trade journals and is the co-author of Strategic Practice Management, 3rd Edition, a text used in many universities to train audiologists in practice management.
